The Dog Who Travelled by Train (also known as Lampo, the Travelling Dog), which she directed, won a Platinum Ticket – an award given out by Stowarzyszenie Kina Polskie. It also won the Best Film award in the Elements +6 category this year at the Giffoni Film Festival and was recognized as the best Polish film for young audiences and received the ZAiKS award at the 10th IFF Young Horizons. The Dog Who Travelled by Train was also awarded the Janusz Korczak Golden Lion Cubs Award at the 48th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. In 2022, the same award was given to Magda’s earlier film Detective Bruno. She is also an award-winning screenwriter (Behind the Blue Door, The Black Mill) and an Ambassador of the Film Educators Team.
