The most interesting animations, live-action films and documentaries from around the world, as well as inspiring meetings with filmmakers and young actors, thought-provoking post-screening discussions, creative workshops and, above all, a whole lot of fun for young audiences.

This is what the International Film Festival TAURON Young Horizons is all about. This year, the festival will take place for the thirteenth time, on the largest scale yet. The 2026 edition will be held in 48 cities across Poland, with Warsaw and Wrocław as its main locations. The festival will run from 25 September to 4 October. Shortly after the in-person edition comes to an end, we will invite our audiences to the online edition, with selected titles available on the festival platform.

We invite both the youngest viewers, aged three and up, together with their accompanying adults, as well as teenage audiences, to join us for shared cinematic experiences. As always, the programme will feature more than a dozen sections – including returning favourites as well as several new additions. Alongside the latest premieres, we will also invite audiences to numerous accompanying events, including discussions and meetings with filmmakers, as well as creative workshops held in cinema spaces.

As part of the Main Competition, the most exciting international productions will be judged by both festival juries and the festival audience. The juries will also evaluate titles in the Film Discoveries Competition and the Documentary Competition.

For the past nine years, the festival has also been accompanied by Young Horizons Industry, an international co-production forum. Every year, more than 300 film industry professionals come to Warsaw to exchange knowledge, find partners for film and series production and distribution, and take part in presentations of new projects dedicated to young audiences.

The industry programme will take place from 28 to 30 September.
