Paulette lives in a lighthouse and longs for her lost little rat. Every night, she leaves a piece of cheese outside for him and makes a wish upon a shooting star, hoping for him to return. One evening, looking through a telescope, the girl sees a bat carrying some shiny objects. She asks for help to find her missing rat friend.
