Marona is a pretty mixed-breed dog whose owners keep changing. The human world is too complicated for a little dog who just wants to be loved. Every person she meets gives her a new name: an acrobat Manole calls her Ana, a construction worker Istvan names her Sara, and a girl Solange dubs her Marona. None of the owners is responsible enough to keep the dog for a long time. What if people depended on their pets just like they do on us? Marona’s Fantastic Tale is a breathtaking, dynamic, and moving story told from a dog’s perspective. It encourages reflection on how we treat other living creatures.
