Pettson and Findus – set

Pettson is a peaceful, affectionate old man. Findus the cat, who seems to have a thousand ideas a minute, is a volcano of energy next to him. Can characters who are so different be friends? Of course they can!

These two inseparable friends live together in a cosy cottage in the countryside. Even though the neighbourhood is quiet and there are very few neighbours, there is always something going on. Findus always finds a new hobby. One day, he will infiltrate the ranks of the feisty hens who are preparing a dance piece, only to pass his bicycle licence exam with them a short while later. He'll also teach a hedgehog to climb a tree and try to decode what a mystery letter says. Pettson isn’t always very enthusiastic about Findus's ideas, but when needed, he will give the tomcat a helping hand. That's what friends are for, after all!

Did you know that…

the farm where Pettson and Findus live really exists? It is located in the south-eastern Swedish town of Julita. It has been furnished by the author of the original literary characters, Sven Nordqvist.
