Even as a boy, Champion could not imagine the world without his bicycle. Now he's making his childhood dream come true and setting off for the Tour de France. He finds out that on the route he has to confront not only his rivals or his own weaknesses.

The cyclist's charismatic granny, who has been looking after him since he was a child, rushes to his rescue again. With a loud whistle around her neck and her sluggish dog Brun at her side, she'll do anything to get her grandson out of trouble. She crosses the ocean in search of the man and ends up in the unusual American town of Belleville. Among the dark alleys of the metropolis, she meets a trio of very popular but eccentric female singers and discovers her own musical talent. The pursuit of the gangsters will be an uphill ride at times, but with such determination, it's impossible not to make it to the finish line!
