Everyone feels different and odd sometimes – just like the protagonists of these short documentaries. Wise and compassionate, they are trying to cope with their everyday problems.
The protagonists of these three films feel the world intensely. The boy from At That Very Moment thinks deeply about life and talks candidly about his fears. Teenage Ania and Bartek stutter and feel inferior because of that. They find it hard to make friends with other teenagers. 12-year-old Adèle also can’t find a place for herself at school. She loves skateboarding, her short hair, and oversized clothes – she doesn’t feel like a typical girl her age. All of them have the courage to talk about their problems, sense of exclusion, and low self-esteem – about feeling different. Their self-reflection and sensitivity make for poignant and unique stories.
