Colourbirds – set
Did you know...
in nature, different species of animals can cooperate? Some birds, called “cleaners”, help large mammals, such as rhinos, get rid of parasites from their skin. In return, they get food!
Do we have to be like everyone else in order to have friends? Or, perhaps, our unique qualities are our greatest strength? The characters in the animated series Colourbirds search for answers underwater, in the forest, and on the Arctic Sea covered with ice floes.
Characters who feel that they do not quite fit into the world around them live in Dragon Town, at the bottom of a pond, in an ice-covered land, and in a colourful forest. Samson's wings are too small to fly, the tadpole struggling to keep up with her peers, Moco blames the Arctic climate for his permanent cold, and the two-coloured bird does not fit in with the other, single-coloured species. Once they decide to just be themselves, each of our heroes shows tremendous strength. These beautifully animated stories about courage and acceptance remind us that being unique is our greatest value, and that differences do not divide us, but enrich the world.
