Dragon Girl

Dragevokterens jul

dir. Katarina Launing
Norway, Netherlands, Czechia 2020 / 82’
Polish dubbing

In a peaceful town in Norway, Christmas preparations are in full swing. It’s snowing, houses are full of Christmas lights and decorations, and a dragon flies in the sky. Wait a second, a dragon?

Mortimer isn’t happy about the upcoming Christmas break. He spends every moment creating videos for his own channel. Unfortunately, his videos get no likes and it’s hard to come by a sensational story in his town. The situation changes when the boy meets Sara. The mysterious girl has long been living on the move, changing one vacant house for another. It soon turns out that she is hiding another secret: she has just befriended a dragon. At first glance, the little fire-breathing animal looks dangerous, but underneath the green scales, there is a lost creature that Mortimer and Sara decide to help. To make things more complicated, the dragon grows wayward and tries to break free. Will the valiant duo escape the trouble unscathed?
