World War II is underway in Norway. Greta and Ott's parents have been arrested and the siblings discover why two Jewish children have been hiding in their house. Sister and brother decide to help Daniel and Sarah reach free Sweden.

December 1942, World War II. In Norway, like in many European countries, Jewish people are persecuted. One night, Greta and Ott's parents are arrested by the Nazis. The brother and sister discover that two Jewish children, Daniel and Sarah, have been hiding in their house. Greta, an admirer of the story of the Three Musketeers, decides immediately to help her new friends to cross over to a prejudice-free Sweden. Otto, on the other hand, is reluctant to set off, and blames Daniel and Sarah for his parents' arrest. The children experience a difficult journey through snow-covered Norway, where every person they meet could turn out to be an enemy. A thrilling story of friendship beyond borders, selfless help, loyalty, and the children's great courage.
