Edward Scissorhands

Edward, who has sharp scissors instead of hands, lives alone in a decaying castle. But the kind-hearted stockbroker Peg insists he moves in with her. Will her family and noisy neighbours accept the outsider?

Edward is the protégé of a recently deceased scientist. His pale skin, tattered shirt and scissors instead of hands make him look nothing like the usual resident of Suburbia. The neighbours of Peg, who has taken in the sensitive boy, initially treat him with distance, but their fear gradually turns into curiosity. As he tries to win the trust of the local community and the affection of Kim, Peg’s daughter, Edward becomes their trusted gardener, hair stylist, and special tasks expert.
