The divorce of one’s parents can really mess with one’s head. The rebellious Bianca, who always says what she thinks, knows this all too well. An unexpected visit from her beloved actress opens her up to a new perspective.

Bianca is not exactly a calm teenager. All it takes is one thoughtless word for her to explode with anger. She is still learning how to handle her emotions, which is not easy when she feels overwhelmed by her parents’ divorce, lack of acceptance, and the sense that her younger brother is favoured. All this creates a growing distance between Bianca and her mum.

During a particularly hot summer, the tension becomes almost unbearable. The turning point comes with the unexpected visit of Bianca’s idol, Billie King, who appears at her home. Billie King helps the teenager see the truth behind her anger and understand that there are other things worth fighting for.
