Kadr -Ghost Cat Anzu Play

Eleven-year-old Karin lives with her grandfather, a monk who looks after a traditional Japanese temple. There, the girl meets the funny Anzu, a giant, talking ghost cat. Soon, a unique, though unexpected, bond develops between the two.

Abandoned by her father – who leaves to take care of 'important matters' – Karen goes to live with her grandfather. At his temple, she meets Anzu, a talking, human-sized cat. In true feline spirit, Anzu follows his own paths, sometimes he's lazy and sometimes mischievous. What's more, he rides a moped, talks a lot on his mobile phone, and works as a masseuse. Yearning for her father and, above all, her dead mother, Karin sets off for Tokyo. She's accompanied by Anzu, who will not always be helpful. This humorous story full of forest spirits will delight cat lovers, fans of Japan, and others!
