Kadr -I Accidentally Wrote a Book Play

Twelve-year-old Nina dreams of becoming a writer. She has a notebook, a pen, and some advice from her neighbour Lídia, who has written many books herself. Now, all she has to do is come up with a compelling story – and life itself will help her with that.

How to captivate readers and reach the top of the bestseller lists? Witty and curious, Nina has been pondering this question for quite a while. With time, she realises that there is no need to escape into the world of fiction. Each day brings new, marvellous stories that are worthy of putting down on paper. By documenting her everyday life, Nina will come to terms with the loss of her mother and figure out why her father is dating someone new. She will also gradually understand what she feels towards her classmate, who is unhappily in love with her. This warm, intimate film celebrates creative endeavours and teaches us that sometimes we can write our own happy ending.
