Teenage Franc plays for the SG Crostwitz SC football club. The boy and his community speak Sorbian – a rare endangered language group. The people who live in the local towns and villages are trying to preserve the Sorbian culture and traditions – having their own football team is a part of that. Even though the club is underfunded, it has consistently secured its place in the second-largest football league in Saxony.
