Da-yi’s mum is moved to a different hospital. The nine-year-old boy decides to visit her at all costs. He is helped out by his new friends who accompany him on his expedition.

Da-yi and his dad have moved to a different neighbourhood to be closer to the hospital where the boy’s mum has been taken. The brave boy spends a lot of time on his own at home, because his foster father works a lot every day to be able to pay the hospital bill. Da-yi prepares his own meals and does the laundry. He visits his beloved mum at the hospital regularly. They enjoy being together, laughing and cuddling a lot. When his mum is taken to another hospital, Da-yi and his new school friends set out on an adventure-filled expedition to find her. The journey will teach the boy about the power of friendship and mother’s love.
