New Tales of Franz

There is a series of burglaries in Vienna. Ten-year-old Franz decides to take advantage of this – he starts an investigation that will bring his two conflicted friends together. Will they be able to work together and solve the case?

Franz is doing his best to keep in touch with his closest friends, Gabi and Eberhard. The problem is these two don’t talk to each other. Another problem is that Franz is on nobody’s side. The boy desperately wants to bring his friends back together so he devises a plan. He makes them believe that Ms. Berger, his eccentric neighbour, is responsible for the burglaries that torment the city. With time, he actually begins to suspect her himself. What’s more, new secrets come to light and it turns out that even more people that they know may be involved. Will Franz and his friends find any evidence and track down the actual thieves? New Tales of Franz is a humour-filled film for the fans of detective stories.
