She’s overjoyed when she gets invited to an audition at the famous Opera House in Oslo – she’s going to perform before the outstanding trumpeter Tine Thing Helseth. The problem is Trine lives in the Lofoten islands – an archipelago located 1500 kilometres away from Oslo. The girl doesn’t want to fly there and contribute to CO2 emissions because she cares about the environment. Trine decides to hitchhike to the capital. Did you know…?

The name of the Lofoten archipelago in Norway means “lynx’s foot” in Old Norse. This is because one of its islands, Vestvågøya, looks just like it.
