In a small town in Norway, everyone considers 15-year-old Marius as a perfect son and student. One day, he meets Frida – a girl who rebels against all. This meeting will change the life of both teenagers.

Identity seeking, growing up, and rebelling – the protagonists of this film go through their first teenage experiences. Marius, a golden boy, is ambitious and well-organised. Everybody likes him. He is a high-achieving student, practises cross-country skiing, and makes his parents proud. Frida is his opposite – the class misfit can’t really control her emotions and doesn’t feel like studying. Frida’s defiant image hides an interesting and sensitive girl, in search of her place in the world. The two of them will be connected by a unique turbulent friendship, which will teach them both a lot.

The Norwegian education system is different from the Polish one. Secondary education in Norway begins when a person turns 16 years old and ends at the age of 24. It has two study programmes: general and vocational.
