Snuff

Sir Thomas Magpie is a rural knight – he doesn't own a castle, but is known for his generosity and love of fancy hats. Together with his clumsy squire Snuff, who is unable to cope with the knight's demands, he lives in a village where even horses are a luxury. When thieves steal Sir Thomas' beloved hat one night, and subsequently plan to rob the shoemaker's shop, it is Snuff who comes up with a way to stop them. A humorous and thrilling tale about how courage and cleverness can take on many different forms.
