Did you know...
the Mironins' colours – blue, yellow, and red – are called primary colours? This means that when we mix them together, we can obtain other colours, such as green, orange, or purple.
The Mironins, three colourful droplets of paint named Blu, Low, and Ro, come to life and escape from a painting by the famous Spanish painter Joan Miró. They have finally managed to leave the dark and boring warehouse! What adventures await them in the museum?
Each of the Mironins is a little different. Blu is blue and wears a cap on his head. He is a sensitive and absent-minded sleepyhead who often gets lost on their adventures. Low is yellow, wears glasses, and always has her own brilliant idea to remedy their problems. Ro is red, a little scatterbrained, very strong and, thanks to her roller skates, the fastest of the Mironins! Every day, Blu, Low, and Ro wander the museum halls and visit the paintings hanging on the walls. Together, they experience exciting, fun-filled adventures and solve puzzles found in Joan Miró's multicoloured works.
A Ladder for Blu
Low and Ro play a prank on Blu – they take his cap and run away. In order to catch them, Blu has to pass a sleeping dog and climb a tall ladder. However, he accidentally falls off it straight into a black abyss! There he meets all sorts of strange creatures. At first, they make him feel nervous, but it soon turns out that they will do anything to help him out.
Ro, the Circus Performer
Ro is bursting with energy and spins pirouettes on roller skates in the middle of the museum. To no avail, she tries to encourage Blu and Low to play with her. When the Mironins meet a group of circus performers, they decide to jump into their painting together! Excited, Ro joins the circus performance, but she starts to feel jittery. Blu and Low come to her aid.
Low's Void
Art can be very diverse! Each of the Mironins has a favourite painting, which evokes pleasant feelings in them. Low is delighted with monochrome grey and white paintings that do not depict any shapes, just a single line. Blu and Ro, who love colours, cannot comprehend this. When they follow Low into the painting, it suddenly turns out that the Mironins have completely lost their colours!
Ro's Horses
The Mironins love carrots – each in their own way! Low likes to cut them into equal pieces, Ro likes to juggle them, and Blu likes to eat them. This is how they spend their time together on a farm, where they harvest vegetables. When they meet some friendly horses, Ro is delighted to make friends with the animals and sets off with them on a wild gallop around the museum. However, she makes a bit of a mess along the way… Will the friends manage to clean it all up?
Blu on Distant Islands
The Mironins find themselves on a beach. Excitedly, Low goes diving and the confident Ro – surfing. Only Blu is a little unsure of himself and cautiously attempts to get into the sea in his inflatable armbands. When he is swept away by a wave, he meets a variety of sea creatures and ends up in an underwater cave, where he discovers some amazing paintings!
Low's Bazaar
Every market is always teeming with life! Ro, Blu, and Low will soon experience this first hand. Among the countless stalls, they will meet street musicians playing a variety of instruments and vendors offering delightful toys. While Ro and Blu get carried away by the all fun, hapless Low gropes around for her lost glasses. Will the Mironins manage to find them?
Ro's Dress
A yellow, orange one, or maybe a green dress? None of them suit the main character of the painting visited by the Mironins. After all, sometimes none of us knows what to wear! Ro, Blu, and Low set out to help their new friend, but accidentally destroy another work of art… Will they manage to overcome the challenges they face?
Low and Animated Letters
Inspired by a painting, Low decides to teach Ro and Blu the alphabet. They start with the letter 'A'. It turns out that the Mironins aren't keen to learn, and Low is a strict teacher. Blu falls asleep during the lesson, and the energetic Ro does things her own way. Bored with Low's lesson, they jump into the painting, where they learn many more letters of different shapes and colours.
Blu's Ballet
Blu admires a painting featuring dancing ballerinas. In traditional white costumes with tulle skirts, they perform amazing pirouettes. Blu would also like to dance like that! So, the Mironins decide to go to a ballet performance at the theatre. Will Blu find enough confidence to join the ballerinas on stage? Ro and Low cheer him on from the audience!
The New Mironins
From afar, the Mironins watch a girl standing in front of one of the paintings at the museum. She has just dropped the notebook in which she was intently drawing something a moment ago. The curious Mironins peek inside and are amazed to discover that the girl has drawn them! At least, that's what they think … until they discover that someone else also lives in the museum…
