The Scarecrow

A young farmhand tries to win the affection of the daughter of the farmer he works for. This will prove much more difficult than expected. The other farmhand is also interested in the girl, and on top of that, his future father-in-law sees him clumsily trying to escape a rabid dog. With limited room for manoeuvre, he escapes… into the field. Perhaps the only way to escape is to dress up as a scarecrow?
