Feliciano lives in Peru. He loves football, his alpaca Ronaldo, and his dog Rambo. His peaceful life and his family’s safety are threatened when a mining company decides to take over the lands that belong to the local community.

Eight-year-old Feliciano loves listening to football broadcasts on the radio – especially when it comes to Peru’s national team. They just need to score a few more goals to qualify for the World Cup. In between supporting football players, the life of the villagers is disturbed. Greedy investors have their eyes on the fertile land and are ready to take all measures to persuade its owners to move elsewhere. One day, Ronaldo disappears, and the boy sets out through the rocky slopes of the Andes to find his alpaca. In the meantime, his parents and their neighbours unite to take action against the mining company. Through Rocks and Clouds is a moving story about catching your dreams and the power of tradition.
