At the Museum

For those who like to create and learn about the history of art!

Are you curious about what life was like in 17th-century Versailles? Or what the childhood of Mexico's most famous painter, Frida Kahlo, might have looked like? If you've ever wondered what happens to paintings when the museum closes for the night and what stories lie behind them, then you cannot miss these films! Let yourself be carried away by the shapes, colours, and true stars of art history such as Rembrandt and Joan Miró. We hope that the screenings – and especially the animated rarities based on books by Peter H. Reynolds and Quentin Blake – will inspire you to make your own art and encourage you to be creative.

This section was created in collaboration with the National Museum in Warsaw. Most of the festival's art–themed screenings will take place at the Museum's Muz Cinema.
