Four-year-old Max’s purple rabbit is much more to him than just a cuddly toy. In the boy’s imagination, his soft toy companion is a real, talking animal, as well as his best friend and companion on many extraordinary adventures.

Max and Rabbit never run out of ideas for games to play together! When they return from their seaside holiday, their garden turns into a beach, and their inflatable paddling pool becomes a rough sea. Together, they hunt monsters, try to persuade a runaway hen to return to the hen house, and even attempt to teach Max’s little sister her first words. They play hide-and-seek, dress up as king and knight, put on magic shows, and when Rabbit has an accident, Max steps into the role of doctor.

Max and Rabbit is a humorous, animated series based on the books by Astrid Debordes and Pauline Martine. Each episode tells the story of shared discoveries and the emotions that accompany the little hero as he learns and grows.

Did you know that…
…there are some interesting differences between the books and the animated series? In the books, Max has blonde hair and his Rabbit has orange fur, while in the series the boy has red hair and his friend is purple.
