Fifteen-year-old Dagmar dreams of a place on the national gymnastics team. Although she is just one step away from her goal, a single somersault stands in her way. Will she manage to overcome her fear and make her dream come true?

Dagmar belongs to an elite group of young gymnasts vying for a place on the national team. Unfortunately, Dagmar’s greatest enemy turns out to be… herself. Gymnastics, once her passion, becomes a source of obsession and paralysing self-doubt. When the pressure begins to overwhelm Dagmar, unexpected support comes from her eight-year-old sister. Thanks to little Nora, she learns how important play is, both in sport and in life.

Elite is a moving story that reminds us that pursuing our dreams should not rob us of the joy we find in our passions or distance us from those closest to us.
