Villads! Villads? Villads?! Six-year-old Villads is constantly hearing his name. His parents are always asking him to do something. They make rules and interrupt his play just when it is getting interesting. Will school be the same?

Grown-ups and their rules! It is impossible to remember them all, let alone understand them. Although Villads tries very hard, he does not always manage to follow them. After all, it is not his fault that there are so many things to do all around him, each one far more intriguing than sitting at a desk at school. And no one has explained why he has to sit still when he could be doing something much more interesting. Can Year 1 really be fun? Is it even possible to like school? For that to happen, Villads is not the only one who will have to make an effort – the grown-ups will, too.
