Song of the Sea

After their mum goes missing, Ben and Saoirse live with their dad in a lighthouse. Their days pass to the rhythm of the waves and tales of the sea. One day, the girl discovers a mysterious cloak hidden in a box. Thanks to it, she soon discovers that it has extraordinary powers, capable of saving a secret fairy-tale world.

Growing up in the midst of family upheaval, Ben struggles to come to terms with his new everyday life. He is irritated by his younger sister’s silence, while his father, lost in his memories, remains distant. When the girl’s magical gift is revealed on her sixth birthday, the siblings begin to realise that their mother’s stories might have been more than just legends.

Although this discovery is exciting, it forces the siblings to move in with their grandmother in the city. Far from home and the sea, they begin to plan an escape that will turn into an incredible journey to save a fairy-tale world, invisible to the human eye.
