Adventures of a Young Moomin

Would you like to hear another story from Moominvalley? This time, Moominpappa tells a wasp-stung Moomintroll fascinating stories from his youth.

Moominpappa was brought up by his grumpy, humourless aunt, a Hemulen. But following rules was never in his nature. One day, he decided to take a jar of jam and set off on an adventure. Along the way, he met the inventor Hodgkins, who taught him how to build a waterwheel, while Edward the Booble helped him set sail for the open sea. Together with the Muddler and the carefree Joxter, Moominpappa encountered the terrifying Groke, who lay in wait for defenceless creatures…

…the film incorporates footage from the animated series produced in Łódź between 1977 and 1982? The series was originally titled "The Moomins" and was made using stop-motion animation.
