Marona, a beautiful mixed-breed dog, keeps finding herself with new owners. But the human world can be complicated, sometimes too complicated for a small dog. Each person she meets gives her a new name: the acrobat Manole calls her Ana, the labourer Istvan calls her Sara, and the little girl Solange calls her Marona. Unfortunately, none of them are responsible enough for her to stay in their homes permanently. What if people were as dependent on animals as animals are on them?
