When the Grey Gentlemen appear in the city, Momo’s friends become obsessed with saving time and forget all about her. Will she manage to return the time stolen from people before it is too late?

Living in the ruins of an amphitheatre, Momo has an extraordinary gift: she can listen to people more carefully than anyone else. Thanks to this, she quickly wins the affection of the townspeople. One day, however, everything changes. Her friends no longer have time for her, and the once-vibrant town becomes a gloomy, depressing place. The Grey Gentlemen are behind it all, stealing people’s precious moments. Momo’s only hope of saving the town lies with Master Hora, the keeper of time, and his magical tortoise, Cassiopeia. Their mission, however, is fraught with danger…

Momo is a beautiful adaptation of Michael Ende’s best-selling novel, reminding us how precious time is and how important it is to spend it with the people we love.

Did you know that…
…when Momo looks up at the night sky at the beginning of the film, she sees a constellation shaped like the letter “W”, called Cassiopeia? It has the same name as Master Hora’s tortoise!
