As a mysterious object approaches Moominvalley, its inhabitants must join forces and find a way to save their home. Meanwhile, two lovestruck scarecrows discover that the road to their dream wedding is full of comic obstacles and unexpected twists and turns.
Moomintroll and his friends set off for the observatory to unravel the mystery of the comet. They have no idea that their expedition will turn into a race against time, with the safety of the whole of Moominvalley at stake. Meanwhile, the scarecrows discover that even the best-planned event can bring more surprises than anyone could have anticipated. These two stories, full of humour, emotion, and adventure, take the characters through an extraordinary world where courage, friendship, and mutual care prove more important than fear of the unknown.
