Ten-year-old Ross, who is on the autism spectrum, sees emotions as colours. When everyday life becomes too difficult and unpredictable, he escapes into the realm of his imagination. The game Dungeons & Dragons means a great deal to him – with its help, and with the support of his brother and friends, he learns to understand himself, manage his emotions, and build relationships with others. The mix of documentary and animation helps us better understand his perception of the world.
