Two Sides of Summer

The film portrays the reality of many contemporary families in which parents decide to separate. Spending half the holidays with each parent separately sounds like a dream, but despite enjoying fun times by the pool with mum and enjoying forest walks with dad, the longing for the other parent never goes away. Giving children a voice, the film presents their perspective, telling, in a tender and sometimes humorous way, how to find one’s place in the new reality of a split, two-household family.
